Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Egypt Praises Strengthening Economic, Trade and Investment Partnership between His Country and Egypt

Ambassador Mazazad Parviz, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Egypt, confirmed that Tajik-Egyptian relations are witnessing great development during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, based on the Egyptian state’s keenness to consolidate its relations with friendly and sisterly countries, which was clearly evident in the visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Egypt in 2022, and the constructive discussions held with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

During the embassy’s organization of a celebration to launch an art exhibition that tells the national history of Tajikistan and chronicles the visit of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon to Egypt in 2022 and his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Ambassador Mazad Parviz, Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, announced the results of the activities of the Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, headed by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and her Tajik counterpart, Qahir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, which was held at the government headquarters in the capital, Dushanbe, recently, to discuss ways to develop joint relations between the two countries. He announced that it resulted in the signing of 3 cooperation documents in the field of economic, trade, customs and investment cooperation, noting that Egypt and Tajikistan agreed to partner in 17 development fields that shape the future of bilateral relations between the two countries.

He pointed out that a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan to enhance trade exchange and economic partnership, exchange expertise in the fields of macroeconomic forecasting, improve modeling mechanisms, and develop and use new models for social and economic development in the two countries, stressing that the third session of the joint committee establishes a new and rich stage of joint cooperation
