DC Studios has unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming film “Superman,” directed by James Gunn. The movie is slated for release in the United States on July 11, 2025, and will premiere internationally starting July 9, 2025.
The film introduces David Corenswet as Superman, embodying the iconic hero’s hope and justice. Rachel Brosnahan stars as Lois Lane, Superman’s closest confidant. The cast also includes Nicholas Hoult as the villain Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Sara Sampaio as Lex Luthor’s assistant, Eve Teschmacher.
This film marks a significant step in DC Studios’ efforts to revitalize its cinematic universe, blending classic characters with new additions to appeal to both longtime fans and newcomers.
