Fabrizio: Omar Marmoush to Manchester City Within 24 Hours at 100%

Fabrizio Romano, a reporter for Sky Sports, confirmed that Egyptian international Omar Marmoush, currently a player for Eintracht Frankfurt, is set to undergo a medical examination and sign his contract with Manchester City within the next 24 hours.

Romano stated on his official account on the platform “X”:
“Omar Marmoush’s plan is confirmed: everything is ready for the medical tests in Manchester and the contract signing within 24 hours. He will join Manchester City 100%.”

An agreement has been reached between Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt for Marmoush’s transfer during the current winter transfer window. The deal is valued at €75 million, with an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses.

According to Sky Germany, Marmoush is set to earn an annual salary of €17 million, which will be reduced to €10 million net after taxes upon signing with Manchester City.

Recently, Omar Marmoush bid an emotional farewell to Eintracht Frankfurt fans following their 2-0 victory against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga on Friday evening. The player appeared visibly moved, shedding tears as he greeted teammates and supporters before his imminent departure to Manchester City.

Marmoush was absent from Friday’s match after the club confirmed ongoing negotiations with Manchester City regarding his transfer during the current window.
