Russian President Special Representative of Middle East Warmly Received in Cairo

The Egyptian-Russia Friendship Association, directed by Ibrahim Kamel, organized a warm welcoming party for Mikhail Bogdanov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Special Representative of the President of Russia for the Middle East.

Various officials, and members of the association’s board of directors, including the director of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Cooperation, and the former Egyptian ambassador to Moscow, and Sherif Gad, the secretary-general of the association, and Businessman Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Kamel.

Kamel welcomed Bogdanov, who worked as Ambassador of Russia to Egypt for 6 years, adding that Bogdanov is a friend, and widely contributed to enhancing the Egyptian-Russian efforts.

Kamel pointed out that the Russian official is a unique representative of leading Russian diplomacy, and his contributions are still in effect to enhance the relations between Russia, and Arab countries.

On his side, Bogdanov welcomed the return of the association’s activities, asserting that it will play a vital role in developing the mutual relations between Egypt and Russia.

He also enjoyed the conversation about various international issues like Ukraine, the Middle East, and international relations, praising the coordination between Egypt and Russia and the strong understanding between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and President Vladimir Putin.
