Qatar has strongly condemned the provocative statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi territory, considering them a blatant violation of international law and a clear breach of the UN Charter, according to the Qatar News Agency.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and called on the international community to firmly confront Israeli provocations.
The ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s categorical rejection of calls for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people, warning that such actions would hinder peace efforts and reignite conflicts in the region. It emphasized that a just and lasting peace can only be achieved by enabling Palestinians to exercise sovereignty over their land.
Furthermore, the ministry reiterated Qatar’s firm stance on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned and rejected the Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks against Saudi Arabia, expressing its unwavering support for the kingdom in safeguarding its stability and sovereignty, according to the Kuwait News Agency.
Kuwait reaffirmed its rejection of any attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people and commended Saudi Arabia and other nations for their efforts in ensuring Palestinians regain their full legitimate rights, including the establishment of an independent state within the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
In a separate statement on Sunday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency, asserted that the Palestinian people have a rightful claim to their land and are neither outsiders nor migrants. It affirmed that the Palestinian people’s rights remain firm and cannot be taken away, regardless of how long time passes.
Saudi Arabia rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements on displacing Palestinians and appreciated the international stances reaffirming the centrality of the Palestinian cause.
