Arne Slot, the head coach of Liverpool, where Egyptian international Mohamed Salah plays, has confirmed that he prefers winning the English Premier League title despite acknowledging the importance of securing all possible trophies with the Reds.
In a statement to “TNT,” Arne Slot said: “I think we love winning every title we can, but if we had to choose just one, we would prefer winning the Premier League.”
This comes despite Liverpool’s outstanding performances in the UEFA Champions League this season, where they lead the group stage ahead of Barcelona and other top European teams.
Arne Slot also shared some personal preferences, including his love for pasta and Italian cuisine in general, as well as his recent search for a head-shaving machine online.
He further stated that all current Liverpool players are better than he was as a player, refusing to compare himself to them. When asked about the greatest player in Liverpool’s history, he chose Steven Gerrard, the former manager of Saudi club Al-Ettifaq.
