Journalistic reports revealed on Friday that English club Manchester City is interested in signing French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, a star of Real Madrid, during the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to the global website “Fichajes,” Manchester City has set its sights on Eduardo Camavinga as a primary target to strengthen its midfield in the next transfer window.
The report added that after Joshua Kimmich renewed his contract with Bayern Munich until 2029, the English team is looking for high-quality alternatives, and they believe the Frenchman from Real Madrid perfectly fits Pep Guardiola’s plans.
It also indicated that adding a new midfielder has become a priority for City, as they will have to deal with the departure of several players in the summer, such as Kevin De Bruyne and Mateo Kovačić.
In this context, Camavinga seems like an ideal option due to his versatility and ability to perform both defensive duties and playmaking tasks.
Recent journalistic reports have also revealed that Spanish club Real Madrid is considering parting ways with French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in the near future.
The global network “Fichajes” stated that Eduardo Camavinga is not experiencing his best moments with Real Madrid. Despite his talent and diverse skills in midfield, the young Frenchman has failed to establish himself as a key player in coach Carlo Ancelotti’s lineup.
Additionally, Camavinga’s performances this season have raised doubts within the club, opening the door for a possible departure in the upcoming transfer market.
