By Sama Marwan,
For the 52nd consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces have continued their assault on the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camp, as well as on Nur Shams Camp, now under attack for 39 days. The aggression has intensified, with increased raids, home demolitions, and the forced eviction of residents under a suffocating siege and growing military reinforcements.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Tulkarm Refugee Camp has witnessed a massive displacement of its remaining residents over the past few days. Thousands have been forced to flee under direct threats and intimidation by Israeli forces, leaving the camp almost empty, with more than 12,000 refugees forcibly displaced. Occupation soldiers are reportedly storming abandoned homes, turning them into military barracks and sniper positions, while also raiding shops, institutions, and mosques, looting and vandalizing their contents.

In Nur Shams Camp, Israeli bulldozers have continued demolishing homes and destroying the camp’s infrastructure. Residents on the western outskirts have been forcibly removed from their homes, amid indications that the occupation intends to convert the area into a full-scale military base.
Eyewitnesses report that the camp is being systematically leveled, with daily bulldozing operations targeting homes, alleys, and infrastructure, erasing its identity and forcibly displacing its residents.
This escalation is part of the ongoing Israeli assault on Tulkarm and its refugee camps, which has resulted in:
🔴 13 Palestinian martyrs, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant.
🔴 Dozens injured and arrested.
🔴 More than 24,000 people forcibly displaced from both camps.
The aggression has devastated infrastructure, destroying water, electricity, sewage, and communication networks. Homes, businesses, and vehicles have been either completely or partially demolished, burned, or looted. The entrances and alleyways of both camps remain sealed with military roadblocks and earth mounds, further isolating and suffocating the residents.
