Militão Challenges Himself to Return for Real Madrid in the Club World Cup

By Sama Marwan,

Eder Militão, Real Madrid’s defender, continues to make progress in recovering from his ACL tear and is now entering the final phase of rehabilitation in preparation for his return to the squad.

According to the Spanish newspaper “AS,” Militão is set to begin training on the pitch and gradually work with the ball after the international break—an essential step in his comeback journey. Since undergoing surgery, he has focused on strengthening his muscles and improving knee stability, showing significant improvement in recent weeks.

The report adds that Militão has been combining training at Real Madrid’s sports complex, “Valdebebas,” with personalized workouts at home. He is also working closely with Brazilian trainer Romário Quiroz, who remains in constant communication with the club’s medical staff. Throughout his recovery, he has received intensive care from physiotherapist Jaime Salom.

Despite suffering two severe injuries in the span of a year, Militão’s morale remains high. He has shown great optimism and determination to return, with sources close to him confirming that he feels more confident than last season. His goal is to be fully fit before the start of the 2024-2025 campaign.
