Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, emphasized the important role played by the League of Arab States in promoting joint Arab action and defending Arab causes. This came on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the League’s founding, which falls on March 22 of each year.
the Ambassador expressed her sincere congratulations to the League on its 80th anniversary, noting its role as an entity and a unifying home for all Arabs. She emphasized that the League has always enjoyed the support and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect him, and the Kingdom’s support for all Arab initiatives and efforts aimed at the good of the Arab nation, strengthening its unity, and preserving its security and stability.
She noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain, since joining the League of Arab States on September 11, 1971, has actively contributed to the League’s work and activities, firmly committed to its charter and principles. She also supported all its efforts, believing in its effective role in strengthening joint Arab action, preserving unity, and promoting solidarity among our brothers.
Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen the role of the League of Arab States in advancing joint Arab action, as it constitutes an Arab framework expressing the desire of the nation and its people for unity and solidarity. She also emphasized the importance of developing its mechanisms, apparatuses, and tools to make it more capable of defending common Arab interests. She stated that history bears witness to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strong support for Arab rights and its constant defense of Arab issues, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. She noted the Kingdom’s supportive and supportive stances toward Arab solidarity in various fields and the promotion of Arab integration and coordination.
the Ambassador praised the sincere efforts made by the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, under the leadership of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, to activate and develop the role of the League and advance it to meet the aspirations of the Arab peoples in this difficult phase that the Arab nation is going through.
