Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, striker for Saudi club Al-Nassr, has continued to break records throughout his illustrious career filled with both individual and team achievements. His latest milestone came after leading his team to a valuable 2-1 victory over Al-Riyadh in Round 27 of the Saudi Pro League.
According to the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), Ronaldo has become the first player in history to achieve 500 wins in domestic leagues — a record no one before him has reached.
As for his journey with Al-Nassr, “CR7” has so far achieved 52 wins, in addition to:
216 wins with Real Madrid in La Liga
152 wins with Manchester United in the Premier League
69 wins with Juventus in Serie A
11 wins in the Portuguese Primeira Liga with Sporting CP, the club where he began his professional career.
Ronaldo reached this incredible milestone after playing only 724 league matches, far ahead of his closest competitor, Brazilian goalkeeper Fábio of Fluminense, who has 484 wins in 990 matches — that’s 266 more games than Ronaldo.
