Egyptian comedian Suleiman Eid passed away on the morning of Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 64, due to a sudden heart attack at his home. He was transferred to Sheikh Zayed Hospital but passed away before arrival.
A Brief Look at His Artistic Career
Suleiman Eid was born on October 17, 1961, and began his artistic career in the late 1980s. His real breakthrough came in 1992 with the film “Terrorism and Kebab” alongside superstar Adel Imam. He then took part in several major films such as “Birds of Darkness,” “Sleep in Honey,” and “Hammam in Amsterdam.”
He left behind a legacy of over 150 diverse works across cinema, theatre, and television.
Noble Humanitarian Acts
Suleiman Eid was known for his humility and affection toward his colleagues. He had many notable humanitarian moments. One of the most touching was when actor Adel Imam supported him during the early days of his marriage while he was facing financial hardship. Eid revealed in interviews that Adel Imam raised his pay in one of the projects to help him.

In a video published just hours before his passing, Suleiman Eid spoke about the importance of values and ethics. He advised his children to hold firmly to their principles and be honest in their lives — a message that deeply moved his fans and followers.
