Trump: “There Are No Red Lines Regarding Retreating from Tariff Policies”

By Sama Marwan,

U.S. President Donald Trump reaffirmed his commitment to his strict economic policies, emphasizing that “there is no red line that would make him retreat from his tariff policies,” considering these measures necessary to protect the United States’ economic interests.

Speaking on international policy, Trump stated that he is “trying to save many lives around the world,” particularly in light of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, warning that “this war could end in a third world war.”

Regarding the possibility of running again, Trump denied any intention of seeking a third term, saying: “Supporters regularly ask me to run for a third term, but that’s not what I’m aiming for,” adding that he “has not tasked the Department of Justice with looking into the legality of running again in 2028.”

On security and digital measures, Trump revealed that he advised his staff not to use the “Signal” app following the leak crisis that affected his administration.

Trump concluded his remarks with sharp criticism of the Democratic Party, saying: “I believe the Democrats have lost their confidence, they don’t know what they’re doing, and they have no leader.”
