Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, affirmed that Morocco’s continued support for the Palestinian cause, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, combines diplomatic and political action with field initiatives that benefit the Palestinian people.
During a press conference on the sidelines of the fifth meeting of the International Coalition for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, organized by the Kingdom of Morocco in partnership with the Netherlands, under the theme “Sustaining the Momentum of the Peace Process: Lessons Learned, Success Stories, and Next Steps,” Mr. Bourita explained that Morocco’s approach to supporting the Palestinian cause and people is based on combining engagement in diplomatic and political efforts and initiatives to establish peace in the Middle East with daily work to support the Palestinian people through field projects targeting Palestinian families and children, in particular.
In this regard, the Moroccan minister highlighted that the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, works daily to support the steadfastness of Jerusalemites through projects and initiatives that address various aspects of their daily lives, particularly food, medical care, and children’s education. He added that the meeting comes within the framework of Morocco’s ongoing commitment, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, to supporting the Palestinian cause and peace in the Middle East.
