Emam Ashour: Egyptian League’s Best Player

Emam Ashour received a rating of 7.80 out of 10 in Sofascore’s evaluation of Egyptian League players’ performances, a score unmatched by any other player.

Hussein El Shahat, another Al Ahly player, secured second place with a rating of 7.39 out of 10, while Pyramids FC player Ibrahim Adel came in third with a rating of 7.32 out of 10.

Pyramids FC’s Mohamed El Shibi ranked fourth with a 7.31 rating, followed by Zamalek’s Nabil Emad “Dunga” in fifth place with 7.22.

Emam Ashour also clinched the title of top scorer in the Egyptian Premier League (“Nile League”) with 13 goals after the conclusion of the league matches, following the Zamalek vs. Pharco game yesterday, Saturday, which marked the final round of the competition.

Ashour scored his 13th goal against Pharco last Wednesday in a match where Al Ahly secured a clean 6-0 victory, claiming their 45th league title. He surpassed Osama Faisal, who finished as runner-up with 12 goals, and Nasser Mansi, who had 11 goals.

Al Ahly officially won the league title for the third consecutive time and 45th in their history after their decisive 6-0 win over Pharco last Wednesday evening at Cairo Stadium in the final round of the Premier League. Al Ahly effectively neutralized Pharco from the start of the match to achieve a well-deserved clean-sheet victory.
