Actor Khaled El Nabawy shared emotional moments from his meeting with world-renowned heart surgeon Dr. Magdi Yacoub, during a special book signing of Yacoub’s autobiography.
El Nabawy posted a series of photos on his official Instagram account, documenting what he described as one of the happiest milestones of his life.

Alongside the photos, El Nabawy wrote a heartfelt caption:

In the pictures, he is seen smiling next to the legendary doctor, who is signing a copy of his autobiography.

The book, titled “The Memoirs of Magdi Yacoub: A Surgeon Out of the Flock”, is a captivating biography that outlines key moments from the life of one of the world’s most celebrated heart surgeons.
The original work is authored by Simon Pearson and Fiona Gorman, with the Arabic translation published by El-Dar El-Masriah El-Lubnaniah and translated by Ahmed Shafie.
The book takes readers on a journey from Dr. Yacoub’s Egyptian roots, through his rise and success in Britain, to personal moments from his life including his relationship with his wife. It also chronicles how his name became globally synonymous with excellence in heart surgery. It highlights his humanitarian side and professional achievements, including the establishment of the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation in Aswan, which has saved countless lives.
Khaled El Nabawy’s Latest Works
El Nabawy’s most recent projects include the 2024 Ramadan drama series “Empire M”, based on a novel by Ihsan Abdel Quddous, in which he plays Mukhtar Abu El-Magd, a father of six children, all with names starting with the letter “M”.
He also starred in the film “The People of the Cave”, released during the same season.
In 2025, he kicked off the year with a new series titled “Sarab” (Mirage).
