France Warns Its Citizens Against Traveling to Iran or Israel

By Sama Marwan,

France has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Israel or Iran, as tensions escalate between the two countries due to retaliatory attacks following the Israeli military offensive.

In a statement issued today, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommended that French citizens avoid traveling to Israel and the Palestinian territories due to the regional security situation, except for urgent reasons, including tourism or family visits.
The ministry urged travelers passing through Israel and the Palestinian territories to exercise maximum caution.

A similar warning was issued for French citizens planning to travel to Iran.
The Foreign Ministry stated that:

“Due to the deteriorating security situation and the growing risk of regional military escalation, French citizens are strongly advised not to travel to Iran under any circumstances.”

Despite some French citizens currently being in Iran, France continues to urge them to exercise extreme caution, avoid gatherings, and remain vigilant during movement within the country.
