Al Ahly President Sends Letter to FIFA
Club president Mahmoud El Khatib sent a letter to FIFA President Gianni Infantino, praising his efforts in developing global football. El Khatib affirmed Al Ahly’s commitment to advancing the game not just in the Middle East and Africa but on a global level.
Due to health reasons, El Khatib will not be present with the team during the tournament, although he expressed pride and high hopes for Al Ahly’s performance.

Al Ahly forward Taher Mohamed Taher shared insights on the team’s goals:
“We’ve played in previous editions, but reaching the final eluded us. This time, we’ll fight to go as far as possible, despite the tough competition.”
