Former U.S. President Donald Trump has disclosed that he earned over $600 million, while the value of his assets amounted to $1.6 billion.
This was revealed in a financial disclosure submitted by Trump on Saturday, which included details about his cryptocurrency holdings, income from real estate, and profitable licensing deals with foreign developers.
According to The Washington Post, the 234-page financial disclosure—released along with financial statements of other White House officials—offers a new glimpse into Trump’s financial affairs in 2024, ahead of his bid for a second presidential term. It also reflects a period of aggressive fundraising during his campaign through various merchandise and marketing efforts.
One of Trump’s largest sources of wealth, according to the newspaper, was his stake in the cryptocurrency platform “World Liberty Financial,” from which he reported $57.3 million in income from sales. The disclosure also noted that Trump owns approximately 15.75 billion governance tokens on the platform.
Both Trump and his running mate J.D. Vance, who also filed a financial disclosure, reported owning digital currencies. Trump owns at least $1 million in Ethereum, while Vance owns at least $250,000 in Bitcoin. However, no detailed earnings were reported from Trump’s digital token launched in January.
Trump also reported hundreds of millions in income from his golf resorts and hotels, notably:
Trump National Doral: over $110 million in income
Mar-a-Lago Resort: more than $50 million
However, Trump still faces significant legal liabilities from court rulings in 2024. He stated that he owes over $50 million each to:
E. Jean Carroll, who sued him
The New York Attorney General, who brought a civil fraud case against him
In total, Trump has been ordered to pay nearly $90 million in two verdicts, plus $350 million (plus interest) in the civil fraud case. Nonetheless, the disclosure mentions that all payments are currently under appeal.
The report also shows that Trump earned:
$1.3 million from sales of a Bible edition
$2.8 million from Trump-branded watches
$2.5 million from Trump sneakers and fragrances
$3 million from his book “Save America“
