The Esports World Cup Foundation today announced the launch of the “Champions Club”, an exclusive, year-long VIP membership program dedicated to winners of the Esports World Cup. This pioneering initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to supporting outstanding players and empowering them beyond the competitive stage, offering them unique growth opportunities within the broader esports ecosystem.
The announcement comes in parallel with the unveiling of a record-breaking prize pool exceeding $70 million for the 2025 Esports World Cup, underscoring the Foundation’s efforts to create promising, long-term career pathways for players and clubs, and to foster a more prosperous and inclusive esports landscape.
Tailored to meet the needs of top-tier athletes, the Champions Club includes a personalized membership card, concierge services, and access to a private digital platform for sharing exclusive experiences and opportunities. Members will enjoy luxury hospitality at premier global events such as the Super Bowl, Formula 1 Grand Prix, and the UEFA Champions League Final, in addition to exclusive travel perks from partner brands and early access to unreleased games.
Each winner of the 2025 Esports World Cup tournaments will receive a complimentary one-year membership in the Champions Club, valid until the end of the following tournament edition.
Speaking about the initiative, Faisal bin Homran, Chief Esports Officer at the Esports World Cup Foundation, said:
“The launch of the Champions Club is a landmark step in our long-term commitment to building a sustainable future for esports. While our historic prize pool rewards competitive excellence, this program extends our support beyond the arena—helping players grow their presence across the global esports ecosystem. We remain dedicated to establishing esports as a world-class sport and viable career path for future generations by investing in athletes at every stage of their journey.”
The new program builds on the legacy of the inaugural Esports World Cup in 2024, which saw over 80 players earn Champions Club membership after excelling in competitions held in Riyadh. That edition brought together 2,270 professional players from 452 teams, competing across 21 games. Over the past year, select 2024 Champions Club members were invited to attend marquee global events such as the Super Bowl, Call of Duty Ultra Major I, and the UEFA Champions League Final—showcasing the premium experiences the Club aims to offer going forward.
The Esports World Cup returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 7 to August 24, 2025, uniting gaming and esports communities from around the world in a global celebration of digital culture. The highly anticipated event will feature a wide array of experiences, including elite tournaments, live music concerts, classic game zones, anime cafés, cosplay showcases, creator studios, and more—offering fans unforgettable moments that deepen their connection to the global gaming community.
The 2025 edition will welcome over 2,000 professional players and 200 clubs from more than 100 countries, competing in 25 tournaments across 24 titles, for the largest prize pool in esports history—over $70 million.
