Singaporean president asserts his country’s keenness on developing ties with Egypt

Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam asserted his country’s utmost keenness on developing relations with Egypt being considered the largest country in the Middle East region to include more developmental fields.

The Singaporean president’s remarks came during an official celebration, that was held in the Singaporean presidential palace in which Egypt’s new ambassador to Singapore Ahmed Mostafa presented his credentials to Shanmugaratnam and conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to him.

The Singaporean leader underscored, during his bilateral meeting with the Egyptian newly-appointed diplomat the depth of ties binding the two countries.

The Foreign Ministry said on “Facebook” on Wednesday 13/12/2023 that Mostafa said in press statements the Egyptian political leadership is keen on developing ties with Singapore on all fronts and benefiting from the Singaporean successful experiments in different development fields.
