The Emir of Qatar congratulates President Sisi on the occasion of his winning a new presidential term until 2030

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, sent a cable of congratulations to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of his winning a new presidential term.

The Qatari Emiri Diwan said: “His Highness the Emir congratulates his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of his winning a new presidential term, wishing him success and prosperity, and for the fraternal relations between the two countries continued development and growth.”

Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar, also congratulated President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of his winning a new presidential term.

On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi won a third presidential term with 89.6 percent of the votes, the National Elections Authority announced.

The Egyptian National Elections Authority stated that the participation rate in the presidential elections was 66.8 percent of the votes.

Al-Sisi received 39 million 702 thousand 451 votes, or 89.6% of the total valid votes.
The elections took place over three days, from the tenth to the twelfth of December.
