Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, extended her sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the confidence of the Egyptian people, which culminated in the announcement of his victory in a new term in the Egyptian presidential elections, Wishing you success in performing this great mission as the Presidency of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Ambassador stressed the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, noting that bilateral cooperation between the two countries has reached advanced levels in its various paths thanks to the attention and care it receives from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, and his brother, the President. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The ambassador praised the civilized appearance and democratic atmosphere witnessed in the Egyptian presidential elections.
On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi won a third presidential term with 89.6 percent of the votes, the National Elections Authority announced.
The Egyptian National Elections Authority stated that the participation rate in the presidential elections was 66.8 percent of the votes.
Al-Sisi received 39 million 702 thousand 451 votes, or 89.6% of the total valid votes.
