Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a cable of congratulations to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, in which he expressed his sincere congratulations on renewing the trust placed in him by the brotherly Egyptian people by electing him as President of the Republic for a new presidential term, wishing him all success in his term. His presidential work tasks in the next phase are to achieve the ambitions and aspirations of the brotherly Egyptian people for more progress, prosperity and prosperity.
On this occasion, the Emir praised the strong fraternal relations that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt within the framework of their distinguished bilateral relations, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s constant keenness to continue strengthening and developing the bonds of established relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples in light of the strategic partnership that brings them together and to advance towards more advanced levels in order to achieve common goals and interests, hoping that the Almighty God will grant President Sisi good health and happiness, and that he will achieve for the Arab Republic of Egypt and its brotherly people all the development and growth they aspire to under his wise leadership.
On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi won a third presidential term with 89.6 percent of the votes, the National Elections Authority announced.
The Egyptian National Elections Authority stated that the participation rate in the presidential elections was 66.8 percent of the votes.
Al-Sisi received 39 million 702 thousand 451 votes, or 89.6% of the total valid votes.
