Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on winning a new six-year presidential term, after receiving the highest votes in the 2024 Egyptian presidential elections.
The official website of the Kremlin read: “Dear Mr. President, my dear friend, please accept my heartfelt congratulations on your re-election to the presidency. Your decisive victory in the elections has become clear evidence of the widespread recognition of your services in solving the current social, economic and foreign policy problems facing Egypt.” .
President Putin added: “It is difficult to overestimate your personal contribution to building and strengthening the Russian-Egyptian strategic partnership, and I would like to emphasize our readiness to continue constructive joint work on further development of the full range of bilateral relations, as well as interaction in international affairs, including within the framework of” BRICS”.
President Putin wished President Sisi new successes in such responsible activity at the head of state, as well as good health.
