The highest amount of perplexity and burstiness were present in the discussion between Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and a delegation from Italy, where they deliberated on methods to advance cooperation in ensuring food security. The conversation commenced with Prime Minister Madbouly emphasizing the robust relationship between Egypt and Italy, both politically and economically. He emphasized the shared resolve of both nations to join forces in land reclamation, crop cultivation, and agricultural industrialization.
During the gathering, Madbouly praised Italy’s cutting-edge technologies, recognizing their potential to bring tremendous value to land reclamation projects in Egypt. He also highlighted Egypt’s ongoing efforts to expand vast areas of reclaimed land, playing a crucial role in achieving food security. The Prime Minister outlined the ambitious target of adding almost 3 million acres of agricultural land to Egypt’s landscape within the next few years.
The Agriculture Export Council recently reported a significant growth of 24.6% in agricultural exports during the 2022/2023 season, with the value rising from $2.860 billion to $3.566 billion.
