The Saudi ambassador congratulates President Sisi on the occasion of his re-election for a new presidential term

Ambassador Osama bin Ahmed Nuqli, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of His Excellency’s re-election for a new presidential term.

The ambassador stated during a tweet on Twitter: “I extend my highest congratulations and blessings to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of his election for a new presidential term, asking God Almighty to grant him help and guidance in continuing the path of development and prosperity for our sister Egypt in light of its security and stability.”

The ambassador stressed the depth of the close historical relations between the two brotherly countries and their peoples in serving common interests, serving the issues of our Arab and Islamic nation, and international peace and security.

On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi won a third presidential term with 89.6 percent of the votes, the National Elections Authority announced.

The Egyptian National Elections Authority stated that the participation rate in the presidential elections was 66.8 percent of the votes.

Al-Sisi received 39 million 702 thousand 451 votes, or 89.6% of the total valid votes.
