The Mufti of the Russian Federation congratulates Sisi on the occasion of his re-election as President of Egypt

Mufti Sheikh Rawi Ain al-Din, Chairman of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Shura Council of Muftis of Russia, member of the Council for Interaction with Religious Societies of the President of Russia, sent congratulations to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Mufti said, in a statement, “His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. On behalf of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the Shura Council of Muftis of Russia, and on my own behalf, I extend to Your Excellency heartfelt congratulations on your re-election as President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.”

He added: “Your re-election to a new presidential term in order to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian people is evidence of the renewal of the high confidence that the citizens of your country have given you once again. Which is considered an important factor for stability in the region. Your Excellency’s personal contribution to building and strengthening the Russian-Egyptian strategic partnership is recognized by the senior leadership of the Russian Federation.”

He continued: “Historically, for many of the millions of Muslims in Russia, the Arab Republic of Egypt was a source of knowledge and knowledge about the true religion of Islam. Islamic clerics in Russia, in contemporary history and throughout the centuries, continue to receive science and knowledge at the world-famous Al-Azhar University.”

He added: “Also, the imams of mosques in Russia received various knowledge and completed their education in many Islamic higher education institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt.”

The Mufti said: “I am confident that with your re-election as President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, your blessed and fruitful work at various levels for the benefit of the people and the Egyptian state will continue and deepen the development of bilateral relations, and will bring more new successes and goodness to our peoples.”

The Mufti of the Russian Federation concluded: “I wish Your Excellency success, payment, and help from God Almighty in your duties.”
