Ambassador Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanem, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Cairo, extended his sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on the occasion of his re-election as President of Egypt.
Ambassador Al-Ghanem pointed to the great confidence that the Egyptians placed in his wise leadership, which brought security and stability to Egypt and put it on the path of development and advancement, noting the high status that the president enjoys in the hearts of the people of Kuwait.
Al-Ghanim affirmed his aspiration for further growth and cooperation in the close and extended fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, which are a model for relations between brothers, and for the joint endeavor to strengthen them in a manner commensurate with the aspirations of the leadership and peoples of the two brotherly countries, wishing the President good health and wellness and the Egyptian people further progress, prosperity, security and safety.
On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi won a third presidential term with 89.6 percent of the votes, according to what the National Elections Authority announced.
The Egyptian National Elections Authority stated that the participation rate in the presidential elections was 66.8 percent of the votes.
President Sisi received 39 million 702 thousand 451 votes, or 89.6% of the total valid votes.
