Arsenal broke the ‘Goodison Park’ stadium curse and overcame the obstacles of its host Everton after defeating them 1-0 today, Sunday, in the fifth stage of the league championship in English Premier League football.

Arsenal, runner-up last season, rose to 13 points in fourth place, two points behind Manchester City (leader), the defending champion in the last three seasons.
On the other hand, Everton’s score, which suffered its fourth loss in the tournament this season and its third at field this season, stopped at one point in eighteenth place (third from the bottom).
