Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen, Turkish Ambassador to Cairo, said that the last 10 years have been the backbone of Egyptian-Turkish economic cooperation.
Ambassador Mutlu Shen added, during a television interview, that the Egyptian and Turkish economies complement each other, stressing that Egypt respects his country’s economic experience, and its economy is very open to receiving Turkish investments.
He added: “We need the Egyptian economy to provide us with important things. Egypt appreciates the Turkish industrial model and is very open to helping it develop its economy and achieve a level and standard of quality.”
He pointed out that Egypt wants to cooperate with Ankara, in light of Turkish investments reaching a strategic level in the Egyptian state, led by the “Beko” brand, noting that Egypt has a skilled workforce that attracts Turkish companies.
