The Misk Leadership Track – one of the tracks of the Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation – organized the “We Rise” event at Durrat Al Riyadh, aiming to develop the entrepreneurial community and create distinctive opportunities to reach further in the world of entrepreneurship in the region.
Through this event, the Misk Leadership Path sought to enhance innovation and growth, provide an enriching experience for entrepreneurs, provide a space to meet their needs, and exchange experiences and best practices. In an effort to achieve growth and prosperity for members of the entrepreneurial community, and to create an empowered and empowering entrepreneurial system.
The “We Rise” event witnessed a number of accompanying activities, starting with “theater” activities, which included the presence of an elite group of leaders and pioneers experts in various fields, and the participating young pioneers presenting their innovations to investors, while the “purchasing hall” was an area dedicated to learning about the competition system and exploring opportunities. Available and appropriate for startups in a number of participating entities, the “Entrepreneurial Consulting Zone” included individual consultations between experts and entrepreneurs in various fields, and the “Nartaqi Studio” presented a number of workshops to build skills and learn about best practices and strategies to enable entrepreneurs to achieve success.
During the “Naratiqa” event, companies were able to showcase their projects in the “Startups” exhibition, which provided spaces for communication between startups, investors, mentors, and companies, including the “Communication Oasis” activities, which provided a space to enhance communication and explore broader possibilities in the world of entrepreneurship.
In addition, during the event, the Misk Leadership Track celebrated the startup companies that benefited from the “Misk Accelerator” program, which is a business accelerator with global standards for emerging technology companies. The program was launched in 2019 and witnessed the graduation of 8 batches, which included 153 startup companies, where the eighth edition was held. From September to December 2023, with the participation of 19 emerging companies from eight different countries, represented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Brazil, Pakistan, and Tajikistan, in 11 different sectors, including aviation, blockchain technology, Construction, e-commerce, financial services, food and beverage, hospitality, insurance, legal, real estate, and sports.
It is noteworthy that the Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation seeks to empower young entrepreneurs through “Misk Leadership” programs aimed at supporting the growth of entrepreneurs and providing them with the necessary tools and skills by providing guidance and investment opportunities in the local and global market to enable them to compete and grow.
