Regardless the continuous Houthi attacks on Red Sea ships, Egypt has taken the lead in ensuring maritime transportation.
According to Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry. Egypt strives to maintain freedom of navigation and ensure safe passage for vessels, those destined for the critical Suez Canal, collaborating with neighboring countries, in particular.
Shoukry pointed out Red Sea countries’ shared responsibilities and pledged Egypt’s full commitment to facilitating trade and reducing any dangers.
This collaboration follows the US-led “Operation Prosperity Guardian” initiative, which strengthens regional security efforts.
