The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced the opening of nominations for the UNESCO King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technology in the Field of Education for the year 2023.
This year, the award is titled “Digital Learning for Green Education,” and will be awarded to projects and initiatives that use digital technology to develop innovative and comprehensive climate-related teaching methods, in addition to projects and initiatives that give learners the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, values, and skills necessary to address climate change and promote development. Sustainable.
It should be noted that UNESCO has set February 5, 2024 as the last date for submitting nominations, provided that the closing ceremony for distributing awards to the winning initiatives and projects will be organized in mid-2024.
