Today, Wednesday, the work of the Palestine Committee in the Arab Parliament, headed by Mr. Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, President of the Arab Parliament, began a special meeting in support of Palestine and Gaza, at the headquarters of the Arab Parliament, as part of the preparation for the special session of the Arab Parliament scheduled to be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat. The League of Arab States in the Great Hall, under the title “Supporting Palestine and Gaza.”
It was attended by a number of Arab and international figures to discuss developments in the war on Gaza and the dangerous escalation in the West Bank.
Holding this session comes within the framework of the continuing efforts undertaken by the Arab Parliament to support the Palestinian cause and support the Palestinian people since the beginning of this brutal aggression against them on the seventh of last October, against war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the occupying power (Israel) in Palestine, and the continuation of its efforts. At all levels and in all international forums, in support of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people, most notably the right to establish their independent state with the city of Jerusalem as its capital.
