Al-Sisi directs government to continue developing all lakes nationwide

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has directed the government to continue efforts to develop all lakes in the country and increase the economic component of development projects by organizing fishing ports and fishing boats to increase fishery benefits.

The President also directed the use of job creation projects and the use of surrounding areas for construction and tourism complexes, thus contributing to improving the living standards of these areas. He stressed the importance of continuing to rely on domestic companies, taking into account environmental factors.

President Sisi met on Monday with Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly, Transport Minister Kamal Wazir, Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Elsayed Elkosaye, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister The remarks were made by Hani Swelem, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Osama Rabie and Armed Forces Engineers Director of the Suez Canal Authority Ahmed Azazi.

Presidential spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said the meeting discussed several government measures, including efforts to eliminate encroachment and dredging from all Egyptian lakes, ongoing development plans and projects to develop resources related to these lakes, and The legal framework for the protection and regulation of lakes and their uses.
