Ambassador Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, Iraq’s ambassador to Cairo, visited the Prime Minister’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, where he was received by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, on the occasion of the end of his work duties.
During the meeting, the Iraqi ambassador expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and cooperation he received during his work in Cairo, stressing his country’s aspiration to support bilateral relations with Egypt in various fields.
The ambassador stressed his country’s keenness to activate cooperation agreements with Egypt, taking into account that the current stage is the stage of construction and development in Iraq after its success in defeating terrorism.
The Iraqi ambassador explained that his country seeks to attract foreign and Arab investments, and is working to transfer the Egyptian experience in the field of development and construction, especially in light of the existence of promising projects for cooperation within the framework of the tripartite mechanism with the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In conclusion, he stressed the cooperation of Iraq and Egypt in confronting all the challenges facing the Arab nation.
While the Prime Minister stressed Egypt’s keenness to support and develop close relations between the two countries in all fields, noting the historical relations that bring together the two brotherly peoples, Egyptian and Iraqi, as they are among the oldest historical civilizations known to mankind.
The Prime Minister appreciated the existing cooperation with brotherly Iraq, whether at the bilateral or regional level, within the framework of the tripartite cooperation mechanism with the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, stressing the interest of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to support brotherly Iraq until it regains its rightful position as one of the centers of gravity and civilization in the country. Dr. Mustafa Madbouly expressed his sincere wishes to the Iraqi ambassador for success in his future duties, and asked the Iraqi ambassador to convey his greetings to his brother Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, the Iraqi Prime Minister, expressing his sincere wishes for the Iraqi government and people to achieve security, stability and prosperity.
