The Arab Parliament Bureau held its third meeting today, Saturday, under the chairmanship of Mr. Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, President of the Arab Parliament, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab Parliament in Cairo.
This meeting comes to discuss the developments of the current events in Palestine and the ongoing escalation in Gaza and the West Bank, and to follow up on the outcomes of the special session of the Arab Parliament on Palestine, which came under the slogan “Supporting Palestine and Gaza,” which was held last Thursday, in addition to following up on the international and regional movements led by the Arab Parliament on foot. Since the outbreak of the war on Gaza, he has been working to support and support the Palestinian cause.
The meeting also discusses the efforts of the Arab Parliament during the past period and its intensive activity at the Arab, regional and international levels, within the framework of its keenness to strengthen the Arab parliamentary presence and defend Arab issues before all regional and international parliamentary forums, especially the Palestinian issue. The meeting also touched on a number of important issues related to The work plan of the Arab Parliament during the coming period.
