Mahmoud Al Khatib, the president of Al Ahly Club, who is currently in France for medical treatment, is undergoing new medical tests after experiencing a recurring “bout” of dizziness while he was in the team’s training camp in Austria, which caused him to fall and suffer a cut to the head.
This came after the Al Ahly president presented his condition to several leading neurologists, otolaryngologists, and neck specialists in recent hours to determine the cause of this condition, apart from the treatment he has been receiving for a year and a half due to the pressures he has been exposed to over the past few years.
After completing the new tests and consulting with specialists, the necessary treatment, the period of rest, and the date of his return to Cairo will be determined.
Despite his health conditions, Captain Mahmoud Al Khatib yesterday accepted an invitation from Nasser Al Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain. Al Khelaifi made sure to communicate and inquire about the health condition of the Al Ahly president and insisted on inviting him to attend the French Classico between Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille.
Captain Mahmoud Al Khatib thanked and greeted Al Khelaifi for his appreciation and kind invitation, wishing him continued success.
