Bahraini journalist Ibrahim Al-Tamimi won the “Distinguished List for the year 2023”, according to the open referendum conducted by the Arab Media Forum Authority team in cooperation with the Integrated Media Academy in the State of Kuwait and the Arab Media Magazine, with the participation of more than six thousand participants from various parts of the Middle East and North Africa.
The General Secretariat of the Arab Media Forum confirmed that this honor comes as a culmination of the great efforts and excellence achieved through a distinguished work journey at the Arab media level by institutional evaluation expert, writer and media personality Ibrahim Al-Tamimi, and through the role he played in serving the Arab media and providing the best at all levels of journalism, radio and television.
Ibrahim Al-Tamimi expressed his pride in this honor, tweeting this occasion in a blog post he published on his personal Instagram account, saying: I was honored by the confidence of 6,000 participants in the Arab Media Forum and my selection from the list of the most distinguished in the Arab world for the year 2023, asking God to be among those praised. On earth and in the sky, and thanked those in charge of the forum, led by Madi Al-Khamis, Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, as well as all the people who participated in the referendum from various parts of the Arab world.
It is worth noting that Ibrahim Al-Tamimi is a Bahraini journalist and writer, born in 1980. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Bahrain, a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Aix-Marseille in France, and a master’s degree in engineering management sciences from George Washington University in the United States of America. He also worked Several positions, including Chief Communications Officer of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Jury Committees for the Digital Government Award in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chief Executive Officer of the Future Court, Director General of the Bahrain Program for Best Management Practices, Director of the Bahrain Center for Excellence, Chairman of the Evaluation Committees of the Dubai Government Excellence Award for medals. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Evaluation Committees of the Arab Excellence Award, also previously served as Director of Information and Best Practices in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
