The Speaker of the Arab Parliament praises Egypt’s efforts in defending the issues of the Arab nation, especially the Palestinian issue

Mr. Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, praised the efforts made by the Arab Republic of Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Egyptian diplomacy to defend the issues of the Arab nation, most notably the Palestinian issue, reiterating the Arab Parliament’s support for the position of the Arab Republic of Egypt in everything it takes to protect and preserve Its national security, which constitutes an integral part of Arab national security.

This came during the meeting of the Speaker of the Arab Parliament today with Ambassador Dina Al-Sihi, Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, and her accompanying delegation, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab Parliament, where she discussed the most prominent developments on the Arab arena, most notably the Palestinian issue and the dangerous escalation taking place in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Asoumi briefed Ambassador Dina Al-Saihi on the parliamentary action plan prepared by the Arab Parliament to support the rights of the Palestinian people, confront the crimes committed by the occupying force in the Gaza Strip, and document war crimes and genocide against children, women, and the defenseless elderly.

In turn, Ambassador Dina Al-Saihi stressed the importance of the role played by the Arab Parliament at the Arab, regional and international levels, in light of its strategy to strengthen the role played by parliamentary diplomacy.

She expressed her welcome for strengthening cooperation with the Arab Parliament to defend the issues of the Arab nation, especially in light of the important role played by parliamentary diplomacy at all levels.
