The Sultanate of Oman hosts the Middle East Space Conference with great international and regional participation

The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, will host, during the period 10-8 January 2024, the Middle East Space Conference, with the aim of promoting the space sector in the Middle East and highlighting the role of the Sultanate of Oman as a strategic gateway to attract investments in space applications and technologies to the region, with the participation of 400 experts and senior executives. In the space sector from government agencies and private sector companies around the world.

The conference aims to achieve the vision and objectives of the space policy and executive program, identify investment opportunities for the sector in the region, highlight the Sultanate of Oman as a regional gateway for space services and applications, enhance communication, build partnerships and exchange experiences between global, regional and local actors in the space sector, in addition to providing a platform.

For decision makers in the region to discuss the main directions of the sector, encourage the flow of international investments, and transfer and localize technological progress in the space sector.

On the sidelines of the conference, an exhibition will be held that includes more than 25 local and international companies specialized in space technologies and sciences, with the aim of bringing together providers and users of services and technologies to exchange experiences and build effective partnerships between actors in the sector’s supply chain, in addition to attracting investment opportunities, establishing new business partnerships, and spreading awareness about technological progress.
