“Four Daughters” by Hend Sabri has been nominated for an Academy Award.

The Tunisian movie “Four Daughters” for the star Hend Sabri has entered the shortlist of Oscar nominations for Best International Feature Film.

The film narrate story of a strong mother named “Olfa” who cares for four kids and whose life is turned upside down when her eldest daughter goes missing under unknown circumstances, prompting her to begin on a adventure to find her.

The film is directed by Kaouther Ben Hania. The producers are Habib Attia, Nadim Cheikhrouha, Thanassis Karathanos, and Martin Hampel.

The cast: Hend Sabri, Olfa Hamrouni, Eya Chikhaoui, Tayssir Chikhaoui, Nour Karoui, Ishrak Matar, and Majd Mastoura Scriptwriters: Jean-Christophe Hym, Qutaiba Barhamji, and Kaouther Ben Hania.

Four Daughters” also competed in the official competition of the Cannes International Film Festival, where it received international awards.
