The Tunisian movie “Four Daughters” for the star Hend Sabri has entered the shortlist of Oscar nominations for Best International Feature Film.
The film narrate story of a strong mother named “Olfa” who cares for four kids and whose life is turned upside down when her eldest daughter goes missing under unknown circumstances, prompting her to begin on a adventure to find her.
The film is directed by Kaouther Ben Hania. The producers are Habib Attia, Nadim Cheikhrouha, Thanassis Karathanos, and Martin Hampel.
The cast: Hend Sabri, Olfa Hamrouni, Eya Chikhaoui, Tayssir Chikhaoui, Nour Karoui, Ishrak Matar, and Majd Mastoura Scriptwriters: Jean-Christophe Hym, Qutaiba Barhamji, and Kaouther Ben Hania.
“Four Daughters” also competed in the official competition of the Cannes International Film Festival, where it received international awards.
