Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny, an Arsenal player, expressed his feelings in returning to play with the team again after a long absence due to injury.

Elneny came off the bench in Arsenal’s match against Brentford on Wednesday, which ended in a 1-0 win for the Gunners.

Elneny wrote on his official account on X: “There is nothing, absolutely nothing, to be compared with going back on pitch after such a long time.”

He added, “And you, Arsenal fans, made it even more special with your warm welcome yesterday. Thank you guys, and a huge thank you to everyone in the club for helping me to come back stronger.”

Arsenal is currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, just four points behind leaders Manchester City and behind Liverpool, Brighton, and Tottenham on goal difference.
