On Palestinian Martyr’s Day.. The Arab Parliament: A tribute to the martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of Palestine

The Arab Parliament, on the anniversary of Palestinian Martyr’s Day, which falls on January 7 of each year, saluted the martyrs of Palestine and their families who sacrificed their lives and souls for the sake of Palestine, and their pure blood was shed in defense of its sanctities and soil in the face of occupation and tyranny, in order to gain freedom and establish their independent state with the city of its capital as its capital. Jerusalem.

The Arab Parliament added in a statement on this occasion that Martyr’s Day comes this year in light of the continuation of genocide and massacres committed by the occupying power against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the attempt to displace them and eliminate all forms and means of life in the Strip, leaving more than 22 thousand dead. Martyrs, 70% of whom were children and women, and thousands of missing persons, in addition to the large and unprecedented disaster resulting from the destruction of homes, buildings, hospitals, public places and infrastructure, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of the people of the Gaza Strip, in addition to the attacks of the occupation forces and the crimes of settlers in the West Bank.

On this occasion, the Arab Parliament called on the international community and international and regional parliaments to take immediate and urgent action to stop the genocidal war committed by the occupying power against civilian children, women and the elderly of the Palestinian people, and to withdraw the occupying forces from the areas they occupied in the Gaza Strip and all Palestinian territories. Including the West Bank, and holding the occupation leaders accountable for their crimes against the Palestinian people as war criminals.

The Arab Parliament stressed the continuation of its international and regional efforts and endeavors to support the Palestinian cause, until the Palestinian people achieve their legitimate rights by establishing their independent, fully sovereign state, with the city of Jerusalem as its capital.
