The Palestinian Syndicate: The occupation’s massacre against journalists will not intimidate them and will increase their determination to convey the truth of its crimes.

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate condemned the heinous massacre carried out by the occupation forces against Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of journalist Hamza Al-Dahdouh, son of journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh, correspondent for Al-Jazeera in Gaza, and journalist Mustafa Thuraya, following the bombing of the vehicle in which they were traveling.

The union stressed in a press statement today, Sunday, that these crimes against journalists, in which 9% of Gaza’s journalists were killed, will not terrorize or intimidate journalists, but rather will increase their determination to continue conveying the truth about the crimes of the occupation and the ongoing genocidal war against our people in the Gaza Strip.

The International Criminal Court called for the necessity of opening an investigation into the crimes of targeting and killing Palestinian journalists, noting that the impunity of the occupation represents a green light to continue its crimes.

The Syndicate extended its deepest condolences and sympathy to colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh and the family of journalist Mustafa Thuraya on their martyrdom, asking God Almighty to cover them with His vast mercy and dwell them in His spacious Paradise.

It is noteworthy that on October 25, the occupation targeted the Al-Dahdouh family in an air strike that hit the house to which they were displaced in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, leading to the martyrdom of his wife, his son Mahmoud, his 8-year-old daughter Sham, and his grandson, the son of the martyr Hamza.
