While hosting the ceremony, comedian Jo Koy made a joke about Swift’s new relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.Jo Koy joked, “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL is that on the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,” and then he said, “Sorry about that.”
Taylor Swift’s facial expression, which some read as an “icy glare,” caused Taylor Swift followers to react, saying that the joke was in terrible taste, while others backed Koy, claiming that the joke was lighthearted and Swift’s reaction was excessive.
Taylor Swift wore a sparkling Gucci green dress in the 81st Golden Globes ceremony, which thrilled her fans worldwide.
Regardless of not being nominated for any awards, Swift attended to show her support for friends who were nominated for the awards.
