In the presence of a delegation headed by the Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, Sattar Al-Jabri, and with the participation of the Chargé d’Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Cairo, Dr. Arwa Hashem, and representatives of the Egyptian government, a ship arrived carrying 10 million liters of fuel provided by Iraq to support the besieged Gaza Strip.
The ship, which departed from the port of Khor Al-Zubair, arrived at the Suez Canal on Monday under the direction of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and the Iraqi Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul-Ghani.
The Iraqi aid that has reached Palestine since the beginning of the war until now is the largest compared to other countries, within the framework of the campaign launched by the Iraqi Prime Minister under the slogan “Iraqi panic for Al-Aqsa.” The various Iraqi aid has received great praise from the Palestinian side.
For his part, the CEO of the Egyptian Red Crescent, Rami Al-Nazer, indicated that Iraq is the first country in terms of the volume of aid and donations, with their volume reaching about 8 million tons so far.
