Egypt is the only team in African Cup of Nations history to win the trophy three times in a row. Egypt is the most decorated team in the Africa Cup, with seven titles, followed by Cameroon with five, Ghana with four, and Nigeria with three.

Egypt is ready to challenge for the title with strong motivation, led by the one and only Mohamed Salah, and building confidence. However, the knockout rounds promise even more intense competition, so the Pharaohs will need to step up their game and use their collective strength in order to claim the African title.
