«Back to Alexandria» will be screened for the first time in the MENA and the film is participating in the official competition section of the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) 45th edition in November 2023.
The movie directed by the Swiss-Egyptian director Tamer Ruggli and starring Lebanese actress-director Nadine Labaki, French actress Fanny Ardant, Hani Adel, Enam Salousa, and Laila Ezz El Arab.
The film about ‘Sue’, a psychotherapist living in Switzerland who returns to Egypt after 20 years of absence to see her mother Fairouz. It also shows Egyptian culture and the beauty of Alexandria. The movie is a must see for people who are interested in Egyptian cinema or road movies.
